Greek Yogurt with Dates
Serves 1 people.
Preparation time: 5 min / Cooking time: 5 min
This is quick and easy as both breakfast and a snack. It would suffice if I weren't working out in the morning, but then I add plenty of energy, see image 2 for ideas.
- Pit the dates and divide them into 2 pieces
- Fry the dates in butter, olive oil, or coconut oil for about 1-2 minutes on each side or until they become a bit soft and caramelized
- Place the yogurt in a bowl and sprinkle with cinnamon
- Add the dates on top
- Top with olive oil and sea salt
- Add whatever comes to mind if you want to expand the meal
- Ideas: banana, blueberries, raspberries, blackberries, almond butter, shredded coconut
