Black Bean Truffles

Serves 15 people.

This is my new favorite sweet. I find it amazing to have a truffle after lunch. A new trick that I have just learned. Instead of coating each truffle with chocolate, just line them on a tray and drizzle over them with a spoon, then they seem quite coated but the amount of chocolate is reduced by 3 times besides saving a lot of time.

All ingredients are placed in a food processor and mixed until the dough is smooth and glossy. Make 15 balls. My dough has usually turned into such a soft mess that I put it in a bowl and place it in the fridge for about 30 minutes until it firms up and I can shape it into balls.

Next time I tried skipping the chocolate coating and found it turned out very well. Got a request to try adding a bit of rum in the version and that will be done next.
